What we pay for
A full collection is our favorite thing to buy, and it's usually where you get the best number, because we're not cherry-picking. We buy complete collections in one transaction: the star rookies and the commons, the graded slabs and the shoeboxes, the binders, the sealed wax, the oddball inserts, all of it.
You don't need to sort, price, or even know what you have. What we pay is driven by the top of the collection (key rookies, Hall-of-Fame vintage, high-grade slabs, desirable sealed product) plus the depth and era of everything underneath.
Collections heavy in pre-1980 stars, 1980s–90s rookies of legends, modern numbered/auto cards, or graded gem-mint cards carry the most value. Estate and inherited collections are welcome too. Many of our sellers inherited cards and have no idea what's there, and that's fine.
Send photos of the boxes as they sit (or a few representative shots), and we'll give you one straightforward cash figure for the lot. When we agree, we drive to you, do the heavy lifting, and pay cash on the spot. No consignment, no fees, no mailing hundreds of cards to a stranger.

Sports Card Collections: common questions
- Do I have to sort or price the collection first?
- No. Leave everything as it sits. We evaluate from your photos and sort on our end. That's one of the main reasons people sell a whole collection to us instead of listing piece by piece.
- How do you make an offer on a large mixed collection?
- We price the standout cards (key rookies, vintage stars, high-grade slabs, sealed wax) against real sold comps, then value the depth underneath. You get one cash number for the whole lot.
- Can you handle an estate collection where I don't know card values?
- Absolutely. That's a large share of what we buy. You don't need any card knowledge. Send photos of the boxes and we handle the rest, including the evaluation and the loading.
- Is there any fee or commission?
- No. We're buyers, not consignors. The cash number we quote is what you're paid. No fees, no percentage taken, no waiting.
- This is an estate collection. Is that any different?
- It's one of our most common buys, and we have a page dedicated to it. If you're an executor or a family member dealing with an inherited collection, see our estate and inherited collections page. It covers working with executors, timelines, and why you don't need to sort or inventory anything first.
